Monitor NOAA Weather Radio. It is an excellent / official source for real-time hurricane information and hurricane warnings. |

If a storm or hurricane threatens, heed the hurricane advice from local authorities. Evacuate if ordered. If no evacuation is ordered, remember to have plenty of water on hand and to fill your tub with water. |

Execute your family hurricane plan. Keep everyone together as the tropical storm or hurricane approaches. |

Don't forget to have a hurricane plan for your family pet. |

Secure the grounds outside your home or business, pick up all loose items, big and small, and bring them inside. |

Check your neighbors yard when they are away. If it is okay, secure them in your home, they may end up there anyway. |
